Thelma J Taylor's Obituary
Thelma J. Taylor, age 92, of Columbia Station, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024. Born on October 23, 1932, in Verona, Pennsylvania, Thelma was the cherished daughter of the late William and Stella Helfrich.
Thelma was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Harold Taylor. Together, they built a life of love, and devotion. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Ilona) Taylor, Leonard (Marjorie) Taylor, and James (Kristen) Taylor. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Thelma was the dear sister of Barbara and John, and she now joins her late siblings Virginia, Harry, and Mary in eternal peace. She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Robert Taylor.
In her youth, Thelma dedicated herself to the noble profession of nursing, demonstrating compassion and care to all she served. She was a woman of unwavering faith, drawing strength and solace from her spiritual journey. Thelma found joy in the simple pleasures of life; she loved playing tennis, watching sports on television, and spent countless hours observing the beauty of birds outside.
A visitation to honor and celebrate Thelma's life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10 am to 11 am at the First Lutheran Church of Strongsville, 19419 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH 44149, followed immediately by a service at 11 am.
