Theresa M. Hughes' Obituary
Theresa M. Hughes, 85, of Parma, passed away October 25, 2019.
Born October 4, 1934 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Angelo and Carmella (Ingnovia) Amato. Theresa was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Columbkille Parish where she also sang in the choir. She had worked at Burger King for 10 years and for Cinemark for 18 years. She enjoyed yardwork and gardening. Theresa was devoted to her family, particularly her grandson, Adam.
Devoted wife of the late Richard; loving mother of the late Sandra Hughes, Cynthia (William) Nicholl, Candace (Mitchell) Toaddy, Elaine DePhillips, Randall (Jody) Hughes, Raymond DePhillips and Richard Hughes; treasured grandmother of Adam DePhillips; dear sister of the late Mary Minnelo, the late Carm Groholy and the late Salvatore and Angelo Amato; cherished aunt to many.
Visitation is 12-2 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 2 p.m. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
