Thomas A. Carroll's Obituary
Thomas Alan Carroll, 83, formerly of Brook Park, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was born on July 3, 1941 to the late Percy and Althea Carroll.
He graduated from West High School in 1961. Thomas was a 43-year employee of United Airline and a long-time youth sports coach. After moving to St. Cloud, Florida and retirement, Tom regained his passion for music. Tom played the bass guitar and would play out at events with friends.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 61 years, Carrie Carroll; daughter, Nancy (Doug) Rhodes; son, James (Rebecca) Carroll; daughter, Lesley (Julio) Rivera; grandchildren, Melissa (Nathan) Botke, Nick (Leigha) Rhodes, Kara Rhodes, Lia Rhodes, Max Carroll, Henry Carroll, Raymond Carroll, Aiden (Ryleigh) Sanchez, Jacob Rivera; niece, Tracey (Bobby) Rivera and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Carroll.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m., with graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
