Thomas Adelbert Horner's Obituary
Our beloved Thomas Adelbert Horner (75) left us on December 30th, 2024. Loved and missed by his wife of 57 years, Gail (nee Michalak), his three children, David (Kim), Jackie (Michael), and Tommy (Danelle). Adored by his grandsons, Tyler, David, Tommy, Kyle, and Stevie. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marjorie, and sister, Patricia.
Tom was a master plumber and a jack of all trades. As a teen, he loved taking apart his car engine and putting it back together again just for fun. There was nothing he couldn’t do. Tom loved being outdoors. He and Gail took mini adventures hiking and looking at wildlife. Tom and Gail especially loved their family vacations every summer to Ocean Isle, NC. He loved being with his family more than anything.
Tom was an avid bowler. He was invited to bowl with the pros numerous times. Although he was a humble man, he was quite proud of himself for that. Tom also loved to golf. He enjoyed golfing with his friends. He always joked that he was glad his playing partners were there to help him find his golf ball.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Cleveland APL, a place close to Tom’s heart
A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2025, from 12pm-1pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted Ohio 44070, followed by a graveside service immediately after.
