Thomas J. Kraus' Obituary
Thomas Jay Kraus, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2019. Tom was born in Cleveland in 1942. In his earlier years, he enjoyed rowing at Marietta College and sailing on Lake Erie. His career was mostly working in the plastics industry and he shared his passion of airplanes, car races, and watching movies and sports with his three boys as they grew up. Later in life, he liked to travel and spend time in nature.
Tom was predeceased by his long-term girlfriend, Kathy Rowe, his sister, Kay, and their parents, Elmer and Edith. He is survived by his three sons, Will (Tawnya), Bob (Heather), and Jim (Wendy) and four grandchildren, Alayne, Sarah, Jack, and Liam.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice, 18659 Drake Rd. Strongsville, OH 44136 or the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113.
Private family services were held.
