Timothy D. Mikut's Obituary
Timothy D. Mikut, age 57, of North Royalton, peacefully passed away on October 3, 2023. He was born March 16, 1966, in Parma to his parents, LeRoy Mikut and Jeanne (John) Hobson.
His kind hearted nature and passion for life made him a favorite among all those he encountered. Throughout his life, Tim demonstrated an unwavering commitment to academic excellence. He graduated from Strongsville High School in 1984, and then earned a Bachelor's degree from DeVry Institute of Technology, graduating in 1987. Tim was a dedicated student and avid learner, completing his degree in only three years. In his professional career, he was a loyal employee for over 30 years at Applied Industrial Technologies.
In addition to being a beloved friend, family member, and colleague, Tim possessed a vibrant spirit that brought joy to those around them. He enjoyed playing in a men’s league softball team, being on the golf course with his friends and family, and always rooting for the Cleveland Browns.
In the all-too-short 57 years we had with Tim, he touched the lives of countless individuals. His life motto was “When I make you laugh it makes my heart smile”. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his wife of 32 years, Kristin Mikut; children, Lee Mikut and Kelley Mikut; siblings, Blake (Patti) Hobson, Laura (Jesse) Ledyard, Rick (Laura) Mikut, Barry (Shelley) Hobson, Rob (Tammy) Mikut, Jeannette (CJ Lewis) Hobson, and Amy (Jason) Glover; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Mikut; step-father, John Hobson; brother, Jeff Mikut; and nephew, Josh Hobson.
We gather to celebrate a life that overflowed with love, kindness, and compassion. Friends and Family may gather on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
