Toney Milton Waddell's Obituary
Toney Milton Waddell, 81 of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Thursday May 30, 2024. He was born October 2, 1942, in Athens, Alabama.
Toney is the son of the late Odis Delmer Waddell and Ruth Virginia Newton. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Rosa Waddell, who he enjoyed FIFTY wonderful years of marriage with; two brothers Roy Waddell (deceased) and Max (Debbie) Waddell (deceased).
He is survived by Sister in laws, Ethel Zucco, Mineral Ridge, Ohio, Carol Yuras, Cleveland, Ohio, Candy Boyles, Parkersburg, WV and Dorothy Boyles, Parkersburg, WV.
He was loved by everyone, and his generous, caring, and loving personality was transparent to everyone. Toney had a career at VARBROS LLC for over 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed going to casinos, listening to gospel music, watching old westerns on tv and driving his green Volkswagen Beetle back in the day. He loved watching the Cleveland Guardians and Alabama State College football. But, most of all, Uncle Toney loved spending time with his family and friends.
He has several nieces and nephews that he loved like they were his own children. No words can express how deeply we will all miss him. May God Bless you, Uncle Toney, and keep you safe in heaven, until we’re reunited in his name.
A memorial service will be held on Friday June 14, 2024 at noon at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
