Tracy was born with spina bifida, a birth defect that led to many surgeries early in her life and challenges throughout. She defied the odds on many occasions and never let this condition define her as she overcame these hurdles developing great strength and toughness as she persevered through adversity.
Tracy lived in Strongsville, OH since 1979 and was a loving daughter acting as the primary caregiver to her mother in her final years as well as a devoted wife and mother. Tracy really enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events, swim meets, dance recitals, plays, musicals and the occasional murder mystery. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, rooting for the Indians, rocking out to ‘80s music and spending time with her extended family in Ohio, Michigan and South Carolina.
Working much of her adult life as a home health aide, Tracy was beloved by her clients and their families as she cared deeply for everyone she worked with. She took pride in being great at her job providing a consistent source of comfort, service and friendship. She exuded deep empathy and genuine kindness and made everyone feel special even through very tough times.
Tracy was a special and unique person who was stronger, smarter and more beloved than she ever realized. She leaves behind a legacy of caring for others before herself and has and always will serve as an inspiration with her quiet strength, indomitable spirit, unique sense of humor, and earnest approach to life.
