Valerie M. Belter's Obituary
Valerie M. Belter, 76, of Parma, peacefully passed away on September 23, 2023. She was born February 5, 1947, in Cleveland, to the late Regep and Patricia (nee Holley) Mahamet.
Valerie had a huge heart and loved baking Christmas cookies for everyone she knew. She enjoyed playing Scrabble with her sisters, learning all things about astrology, and most importantly, adored spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnne Cardinal and brother, Raymond Mahamet.
She is survived by her loving family including her daughters, Jennifer (Larry Lang) Belter, Jill (Wayne II) Johnson, and Jan Toler; grandchildren, Lexi Toler and Austin Toler; siblings, Sandra Meacher, Anita (Bill) Isherwood, Vivian Stagg, and Frances Mahamet.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00noon on October 3, 2023, at Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070). A Catholic Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00noon, officiated by Father Brown. Her final resting place will be Sunset Memorial Park, in Section 42, North Olmsted, Ohio.
