Verna J. Wolfe's Obituary
Verna J. Wolfe, 91, of Parma Heights, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Verna was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Walter and Josephine (nee Huhn) McCord in 1929. Besides her parents, Verna is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver, and siblings Violet and Bruce.
Verna is survived by her sons Eric (Carolyn), Mark (Carol), and Kirk; grandchildren Katherine, Eric, Caroline, Christopher, Emily, and Steven; great-grandchildren Jaylen, Audrina, and soon-to-be Joshua; and brother Richard (Genevieve).
Verna enjoyed traveling, bowling, and the occasional casino trip. She was a talented artist and loved to paint and draw. Verna was very caring and loving and always put the wants and needs of others first.
She will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070 on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 5pm until 8pm. A committal service will be held at the Sunset Chapel on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2pm. Guests are asked to meet at the Sunset Chapel between 1pm and 2pm for a final viewing and to prepare for procession. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
