John
I don't remember the situation when I met Vic at UCC BPD Edgewater in 1976. He was a very cocky engineer, about my size, and I was a nervous rookie engineer. It seemed like he was always laughing and joking around, making comments that I wouldn't dare. He seemed younger than his 40 years, I would never have guessed his age. In early 1981, he and I swapped labs, me going to Std. Alkaline and him going to Lithium. He got his own lab, so far west it was actually in the Edgewater QC lab. I shared a lab with Holly Hoffman, soon to become Fitzgerald. He was much more versatile than me, and I would have liked to have been more like him. My condolences to all of his family.
