Virgil H Ping Jr's Obituary
Virgil H. Ping, Jr., 82, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, passed away on May 14, 2025. He was born on August 7, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Virgil H. Ping Sr and Julia Michalevich.
Virgil was the husband of Shu hua Chen, he survived his children Daniel Ping and Kimberly (Todd) Stevens, and his granddaughters Madison and Mackenzie. He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Margaret Ping.
Virgil loved attending car shows, proudly displaying his Corvette, and admiring classic automobiles. A lover of books, he often found solace in reading. He enjoyed relaxing by the pool on sunny days, appreciating the warmth and peacefulness of the moment. Good food was another source of happiness for Virgil, savoring meals. Above all, he found fulfillment in traveling with his wife, Shu hua, creating cherished memories along the way.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070. A service for Virgil will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00 PM. The family will lay Virgil to rest privately.
