Walter S Kostendt's Obituary
Walter S. Kostendt, 97, of North Royalton, Ohio passed away on September 6, 2022. He was born in Romania on January 29, 1925 to the late Andreas and Elisabeth Kostendt (nee Osivnik). Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ilse Kostendt; his parents; and his sisters, Helene and Frieda. Walter will be deeply missed by his children, Gerhard Kostendt, Werner Kostendt, and Heidemarie Chernushin; loving grandfather of Nikolas Chernushin (Aimee Semborski), Alex Chernushin, Tamara (Jeff) Huebner, Stephanie Kostendt, Betsy (Colin) Prendergast, Maggie (Dan) Brady, Andy Kostendt, and Arthur (Laura) Kostendt; cherished great-grandfather of Laney, Dex, Mary, Rose, and George. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 12-4pm at Sunset Funeral Services, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 12 noon also at the Sunset Chapel.
