Walter Carl Rozinger's Obituary
Walter Carl Rozinger, 91, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away on October 24, 2021. He was born on December 16, 1929 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late George and Hilda (nee Kurzenberger) Rozinger. He proudly served in the Unites States Army during the Korean War. Walter was a Master Carpenter by trade. After retiring from carpentry, he took his talents to building model kits of ships, airplanes, and HO train model railroads. Every now and then he would enjoy a Miller High Life. Walter will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and his impression of Donald Duck. He is reunited with his dear wife Doris Rozinger of 65 years; loving father of Diane, Robert, and Richard Rozinger; treasured grandfather of Heather (Nick) Tollis and Jennifer (Evan) Phillips; cherished great-grandfather of Annah Phillips. Walter is preceded in death by his grandson Baby Billy. Friends and family are welcome on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Walter will be privately laid to rest. Friends and family are welcome to visit Walter’s resting place at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, Section 42, Lot 467.
