Wanita "Nikki" Lasker's Obituary
Wanita Mae “Nikki” Lasker, of Cleveland, daughter of the late Green Berry Branham and Rosalie Stover Branham, entered through the gates of heaven on Friday, November 6, 2015 at The Vila Camillus after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William “Bill” Branham and sisters Dodie Casto, Virginia “Ginny” Barnette, Barbara “Bobbie” Painter, Anna Laura Saylor, and Madelyn “Pat” Ward.
Nikki was a feisty little dynamo with a tough veneer and a heart of gold, who loved the Lord, loved her home, loved her daughters, and loved her garden. But her most prized accomplishment were her four grandchildren, her “fairydiddles.” She retired from Cleveland Metro Hospital after 23 years of service and was a member of long standing at Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Cleveland.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Anna (Randy) Tipton and their sons Matthew and Brandon (Tricia) Tipton of Cleveland, and Barbara (Ira) Starr of Charleston, WV and their daughters, Natalie (James Katis) Woolwine of Bedford, NY, and Victoria (Jason) Henry of Morgantown, WV, and their children Nikki’s great-grandchildren, Henry and Helen Katis and Jackson and Katis Henry. She is also survived by her sister, Jeri Kikel of Point Pleasant, WV and her brother Bobby Branham of Seattle, WA.
The family would like to express their most sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Villa Camillus for the special loving care extended to Nikki during her eight year residency at their facility.
Funeral service Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where the family will receive friends on Monday from 12PM until the time of service. dostalbokas.com
