Wendy was amazing at church. When she cooked the meals, she took into honest consideration everyone's needs and preferences. She could also cook anything! I have no idea how she did it all except God blessed her with great talents! And she used those talents in service to God!
When I came back in 2013 to visit my family after 17 years I remember how Aunt Wendy just opened the door of the mobilehome we were picked up with. She looked at me and said "There you are!" And gave me a big hug.
I will never forget how easy she made it for me to feel like her niece and family member.

Wendy was embodying what it means to be "made in the image of God". She was so loving, so gentle, such a firm rock, and such an amazing servant. I know she was greeted with "Well done, good and faithful servant" when she departed this world... Her contagious smile will be missed!
