William "Bill" Edward Clarke's Obituary
William “Bill” Edward Clarke, 96, passed away on April 8, 2024. He was born on April 8, 1928 to the late Clarence Alva and Elsie Louise Clarke.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura (Kevin) Nestor; grandchildren, Patrick (Bea) Nestor, Brian (Teague) Nestor, and Erin Nestor; and great-grandchildren, Jack Nestor, Lewis Nestor, Ellen Nestor, and Finnegan Nestor. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Clarke; and his son, Steven Clarke.
Bill was a lifelong member of the Parma Heights Baptist Church. He served in the Navy and worked as an engineer on Channel 3 for 35 years. Bill and Doris met dancing and continued to love dancing together for over 60 years of marriage. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going to Indian’s games, gardening and his fruit trees, and creating artwork. Bill is loved and will be missed by his friends and family
His service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
