William Curtis "Curt" Bolin's Obituary
William Curtis “Curt” Bolin, passed away on August 1, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Curt was born on November 17, 1943, in Crossville, Tennessee to Homer and Lula Bolin. Curt was married to Diane (nee Fernengel) for a remarkable 57 years. Curt was exceedingly proud of his family, especially his two children Brent Bolin (Danielle Schopp) and Michelle Pearrell (Todd), and grandchildren David Bolin and Cameron and Mallory Pearrell.
Curt was a phys ed and health teacher in North Ridgeville for 35 years and also worked in the Metroparks for many years after he retired from teaching. Curt coached many sports, including wrestling, football, track, and volleyball.
Curt came from a large family, including siblings Treva Whalen (Randy), Mary Cook (Roger, deceased), Peggy Weisheit (David), Carlos Bolin (Kathy), and Gary Bolin (Linda), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Creed and Terry Bolin.

A visitation will be held on Thursday August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will be held on Friday August 8th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Chapel, with interment immediately to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
