William Crell, Jr., age 84, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024. Born on October 12, 1939, to the late William and Jeanette Crell, he lived a life filled with love, dedication, and achievement.
William is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Crell, and his four sons: Christopher, Corey, Charles (Sarah), and Clifton (Annamarie). He was a proud grandfather to Ryan, Erin, Andrew, Matthew, Courtney, and Kyle, who brought him immense joy and pride. A devoted brother, William is also remembered by his brother, Lionel Crell.
His legacy includes a distinguished career at NASA, where he contributed to the advancement of space exploration, reflecting his passion for mathematics and innovation.
William’s warmth, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will cherish the memories of his laughter and love.
A graveside ceremony will be held to celebrate his life and the impact he had on those around him on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends and family will gather at 9:45 AM to line up in procession at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
