William Harold Hale's Obituary
William Harold Hale, age 90, of Berea, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025. Born on September 29, 1934, in Council, Virginia, to the late Electra and James Ira Hale, William lived a full and vibrant life.
William is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 69 years, Dorothy Hale, whom he married in April 1956. He was a devoted father to Gary (Shelia) Hale and Duane (Robin) Hale. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Erica) Hale, Gina (Christopher) Smith, Joshua Hale, Jacob Hale, Brice Hale, and Brayden Hale, as well as his great-grandchildren, Sofi, Bree, and Canaan. He is also survived by his loving sister, Ilene Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Hale, Curtis Hale, Geneva Mullins, Lowell Hale, Logan Hale, and Virginia Hale.
William dedicated 35 years of his career as a Quality Control Foreman at Ford, retiring in 1990. He was passionate about golfing, attending car shows, and buying and selling cars. William took immense pride in his family and was committed to maintaining family traditions. He also enjoyed traveling to visit family, creating lasting memories with those he loved.
William will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, dedication, and love for his family will be remembered and cherished forever.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Pinewood Garden Mausoleum (Unit 3, Tier 3, Crypt K).
