William "Bill" Johnson Jr's Obituary
William “Bill” Johnson, Jr., age 84, of Westlake, Ohio, passed away on July 24, 2025. Born on November 5, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late William Sr. and Zelma Johnson, Bill lived a life defined by service, dedication, and quiet integrity.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Kathleen Johnson. He was also a devoted brother to Mary Jane (Frederick – deceased) Gilliland.
Bill served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in the Federal Court system for many years, where his professionalism, leadership, and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and peers alike. Rising to the role of Operations Manager, he left an indelible mark on the institution he served.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for a donation to be made in memory of Bill to Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, Ohio.

A committal service will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park. Guests are kindly asked to arrive at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, no later than 11:45 AM to proceed to the graveside.
