William Ernest Klostermeyer's Obituary
William Ernest Klostermeyer was born on August 18, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late William C. Klostermeyer and Anna Klostermeyer (née Adam). He passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026.
William was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with those he loved. For 41 wonderful years, he shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Linda Klostermeyer (née Alwin). Together they created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Linda; his children, Jill Ann (Robert) Lemanowicz, Erik (Sara) Klostermeyer, and Kimberly Wood; and his treasured grandchildren, Abby Lemanowicz Logan Wood, Jordan Horinger, Brad Horinger, and Lexie Shepherd.
A true family man, William's life revolved around his loved ones. He was never happier than when surrounded by his family, whether celebrating special occasions, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other's company. His unwavering love, guidance, and support will be remembered by all who knew him.
William was an avid outdoorsman with a lifelong passion for fishing and hunting. A proud member of the Rochester Rod and Gun Club, he spent countless hours on the water casting a line and enjoyed many days in the woods pursuing the sport he loved. The peace, beauty, and solitude of the outdoors brought him great joy. Whether fishing with family and friends or sharing stories after a successful hunt, William created cherished memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
William will be remembered for his kind heart, strong values, dedication to his family, and love of the outdoors. His legacy of love, loyalty, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at 2:00PM in Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070.
