William S. Lindsay's Obituary
William S. Lindsay, 76, of Olmsted Falls, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 1, 1947, to the late William and Bea Lindsay.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Brenda Lindsay; and a sister, Sue Marx.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his daughters, Elizabeth (Samuel) Wells and Victoria (Timothy) King; grandchildren, Mary, Jack, Connor, Annie, Collin, and Brenna; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other extended family members and friends. He retired from the Cleveland Plain Dealer and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
The family would like to thank the residents and staff at Devon Oaks for their wonderful care and friendship.
Friends and Family may gather from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070). A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 2, 2024. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Sunset Memorial Park, in Section 48.
