William “Mike” Rakes age 57, of Cleveland, passed away August 30, 2019. Beloved husband for over 26 years of Tammy. Loving father of Crystal (Chad) Wilke, Mike (Kaitlin) and Heather and Shane Rakes. Proud grandfather of Daniel and Cheyenne Bonds, Emma Wilke, and Eliza and Maverick Rakes. Dear brother of Bettie (Donald) McNeeley, Patty (Dennis) Hickey, David (Marilyn) Rakes, Carol (Leon) Roop and John (Lana) Rakes. Dearest son in-law of Mary and Don Gladys and brother in-law of James (Lori) Gladys and Chris (Leah) Gladys. Mike was a dear uncle and friend of many. He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Pearl. He was dedicated to his family and loved Nascar, fishing and camping. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 5th, 12 Noon at Cannon Lopresti and Catavolos Funeral Home, Cleveland. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 4th from 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment at SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK, North Olmsted on Thursday, September 5th at 1:30 AM.
