William J Snyder's Obituary
William J. Snyder, 87 of Olmsted Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Hospice Services of Southwest General Health Care. He was born in Cleveland on May 2, 1928. William was a U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran and retired from the Army and American Airlines. William was a member of Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church, North Ridgeville and supported many charities. He enjoyed gardening, reading the Bible and traveling, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
William is survived by his children Kate Salmon (Gary) of Olmsted Falls, Ken Snyder of Olmsted Falls, and Krista McNamee (Jim) of Cleveland; grandchildren Eli Adams and Leonore Hijazi; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Yuhas of Olmsted Township and Frances Kish of Long Island, NY, and brother Paul Snyder of Dallas, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife Leonore (1995) and his parents, William E. and Frances Snyder (nee Twardeck).
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Services at North Olmsted Friends Evangelical Church, 5665 Great Northern Blvd. North Olmsted, OH 44070 on Tuesday, June 2 at 11:00am. Pastor Geoff Schultz officiating. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
