William Peter Taylor's Obituary
William Taylor age 93, beloved husband to Mae (nee Woodward); Father to Linda (Roger), Pamela (Lee), Curtis (Nettie), Kate (Keith), Celene (Richard), Deborah (Pete), Karen (Craig). Grandfather to Christine, Lisa, Cheryl, Brad, David, Michael, and Elizabeth, Mathew, and Melissa; great grandfather to Ryan, Sarah, Chelby, Braydon, Camden, and Addison. Devoted husband, father, and family member. Entered the Navy during WWll at age 16 and served in the Pacific theater. He enjoyed boating for many years and was accomplished in seamanship.He was a carpenter by trade and a member of carpenters union for 45 years, retiring from working in 1991. Shared his gift of carpentry by working on family members and friends projects. Became interested in aeronautics and learned to fly. Kept active through the year as a cross country skier as well as downhill skier. He will be privately laid to rest with his wife at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.
