William L. Whitehead's Obituary
William L. Whitehead, 91, formerly of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully July 18, 2014 in Cape Coral, FL.
Beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee Rhodes); dear father of Christine Woods, William, Joy Galippo (Roger),Thomas, Tammy Mlady (Steven), and Wendy Varney (Carl); cherished grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of four. WWII US Army veteran. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 38 years as a Purchasing Agent. Mr. Whitehead was an avid golfer and very well known for his amazing story telling.
A graveside service for both William and Nancy will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:30PM at Sunset Memorial Park. Please meet at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted at 2:15 for procession. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any VA hospital.
