Willie Lee Oliver's Obituary
Willie “Cotton” Lee Oliver, age 85, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on December 28, 2024. Born on March 13, 1939, in Bluff City, Tennessee, to the late Virginia and John Oliver. Willie was a true Southern gentleman known for his kindness, hard work, and gentle nature.
Willie is survived by his beloved life partner, Linda Beluscak and his children: Jeannine (Chris) Allen, Jennifer Oliver, Joseph (Jennifer) Oliver, and Julie (Bill) Brown. He was a proud grandfather to Darla Allen, Colton Oliver, and Audrey Oliver.
A dedicated handyman, Willie was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an avid sports fan, cheering for many Cleveland and Tennessee teams with great enthusiasm. Willie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as farming, gardening, and tending to his bees and chickens. He and Linda traveled extensively across the country, creating cherished memories together. Willie also enjoyed gambling and was a proud Caesar Seven Star member.
Professionally, Willie worked for Heritage Home Roofing and other roofing companies in the Cleveland area for many years. He retired from Iron Workers Local 17, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and hard work.
Willie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His sweet and gentle spirit, along with his unwavering willingness to help others, will be remembered fondly by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
