I remember when I was a kid and we would go to Ohio to visit and would stay at Aunt Genevieve's house. She always made sure we were comfortable and made us feel at home. I also remember, too, her telling Mom many times lol… to leave me alone. You know how children get into things or try to touch things, watnots or whatever. Aunt Genevieve would always say, "Joy, leave her alone. She's not going to hurt anything!" and Aunt Genevieve would have this real serious look on her face. Aunt Genevieve, to me, was always a lot like Mamaw Wilson, humble, quiet, and always loving. So sorry to see her go, but happy too, she is now with Jesus and the other family members who have gone on to heaven–no more pain, no more tears, there's a reunion going on in heaven! And, to the family here, she'll continue to love you and cheer you on, it'll just be now from the streets of heaven. She'll be one of those witnesses in the sky. To the family: I extend my heartfelt sympathy, love and prayers. Praying that God's love and the hope we have in Him will be your strength.
