Yui Angelique Wedepohl's Obituary
On February 13th, 2024, our daughter, Yui Angelique Wedepohl has passed onto the next life.
Although we’ve had a short time with her, we treasured every extra second we were blessed with, and the love she gave us we will carry on for eternity. When Yui was born and placed on the chest of her mother, she was able to hear and moved to the sound of her mother and fathers’ voice. She got to hear her mothers’ heartbeat and reacted to her mother’s and fathers’ touch. It will be a moment we will never forget and treasure forever.
The doctors predicted her to only last a couple of days, but she exceeded everyone’s expectations, and fought for a week to have the slimmest chance of surviving. Yui was truly her mother’s child, strong to the very end. She was deeply loved and cherished every second, every minute, every hour we had with her. We will always hold Yui’s love and last moments in our hearts and miss her every day.
Yui will be forever loved and remembered by her parents, Angelique and Jayme Wedepohl who wanted to give their daughter the universe. Her grandparents, Tanisa Hammond and Kathryn & Daniel Wedepohl who were excited for her arrival to shower her with love and spoil her to their heart’s content. Her aunts, Mercedes Holland, Arora Wedepohl, and JoAnne Jackson who would be there to provide emotional support and love. Her uncles, Trevon Allgood, Jimmie Holland III, and Ar’Tavious Holland who would have ensured her protection as she grew into a strong young woman that we knew she would have become.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmie Holland Jr who would’ve loved her unconditionally.
Yui will always be our baby girl and we will love her for a lifetime. She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
