Sunset Funeral Home is honored to welcome Del Holdash for a special performance of Taps on Thursday, June 18, at 4:00 PM.
Del, a dedicated trumpet player and longtime live bugler for American Legion Post 572, is bringing his TAPS 250 Challenge to Sunset Funeral Home as part of his personal mission to sound Taps 250 times between Memorial Day and July 4. Each performance is a tribute to the service, sacrifice, and memory of those who have served our country.
Though Taps is only 24 notes, its meaning is deeply felt. This moving tribute offers a moment to pause, reflect, and honor veterans, first responders, and all those who gave so much.
