Beverley Ann Kane
November 1, 1934 - April 4, 2021
Kane, Beverley Ann (nee) Fink, Age 86, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2021, Easter Sunday. A special lady with a big heart. She was the devoted wife of Michael Kane (deceased), Loving mother of Bonnie Luinski (deceased) (Todd), Brian Lemcke (Joan), Belinda McElhannon (Shaun), and Blair Lemcke (Janet). Cherished Grama of Valerie, Jonathan, Nathan, Keith, Todd (TJ), Sarah, Justin, David, and Abby. A loving Great Grama of Emma, Quinn and Lucas. Devoted sister of Barbara (twin), Brenda, David, and Donald. Beverley was the oldest of her siblings, born in Cleveland to Evelyn and Arthur Fink. Evelyn passed away when Beverley was just 12 years old. She graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland in 1952. She spent her whole life thinking of others and being there for anyone who needed her help. Her life was dedicated to raising her children. She was also an animal lover and cared for many dogs and cats in her lifetime. Some were strays that just showed up at her house. That compassion has been passed down to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her legacy will live on. Her heart and her home were always open to care for so many. She worked as an administrative assistant while taking care of her family and her home. She was a talented seamstress and also loved to crochet and knit. All new babies in the family received a blanket crocheted by Beverley. She also enjoyed working in her yard cutting the grass and taking care of the many flowerbeds and at times growing a garden. Beverley and Mike loved to take road trips and discover new places. He made her happy and we are all thankful for that. She was a devoted Grama always making sure she was there to support her grandchildren in a school program, summer sport or piano recital. As the house became too much to handle she moved to a Senior living complex. There she made new friends, played Bingo and attended many fun functions with her favorite caregiver and friend, Janet. She loved God, church hymns, Christmas and Easter services. Even when she was homebound she would listen to church services on the radio. How fitting she passed away on Easter Sunday. Some of her favorite hymns were: I Need Thee Every Hour, Abide With Me, How Firm a Foundation, Faith Of Our Fathers, Breathe on Me or Breath of God, Ode To Joy, The Church’s One Foundation and one of her favorites, Christ The Lord Is Risen Today. 2Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2Corinthians 5:1 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven not built by human hands. Luke 1:45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her. Rest In Heaven Beverley Kane…Until we are all together again!
