Dave Mikla here......I chummed around with her oldest son Tom in Kindergarten and first grade area. One day Tom and I were playing in the woods behind their house and I fell into the creek. Arlene fixed me up with a pair of Tom's jeans and under pants to go home in. Don't know of any other mom's that would do that . They would just tell the kid to go home.
