Betsy Floretta Stefany's Obituary
Betsy Floretta Stefany (nee Oatman), passed away peacefully during the morning hours of August 2, 2020, at the tender age of 95. She is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Mary; her loving husband Art Stocks; and both sisters, Norma and Carol.
Left to mourn Betsy are her children Sandy (Joe) Stacks, Scott (Sandy) Stocks and Susan Stocks; her grandchildren Michael, Joey, Lindsey (Iggy), Ryan and Cory.
Betsy was born and raised in Lakewood, graduating from Lakewood High School. She loved dancing and rollerskating (a sport she enjoyed until she was 88 years old!!). Betsy met the love of her life while they were both skating.
Graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 1:00 PM where Betsy will join Art, who passed away 50 years prior. Family and friends will meet for procession at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted.
Betsy's family requests any memorial donations be considered to St. Augusta Manor, 7801 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102.
