We lived just a few houses away from Rick and Betty, and we couldn't drive by without looking over toward their house every time we drove anywhere. More often than not, Betty would be sitting out front and would give everyone the biggest smile when we waved. Just that simple smile was enough to brighten the start of our day innumerable times. We sure miss her.
