Oh, Aunt Betty, the laughs and fun we have had over the years! I remember the fun we had in Ky. and my favorite thing was to spend the night at your house or when you would spend the night at ours! The riding around in that beat up VW beetle and running out of gas, to Debbie's pet monkey, to letting us girls do almost anything we wanted when we were with you! I am 65 yrs. old and still remember the first time I got to go to a movie in the theatre, you paid for and took us up to Somerset to see Treasure Island! You and Mom put the sewing and embroidery bug in me and I learned so much from the both of you. When I sit at my embroidery machine I still think of you. You were always smiling and laughing and made everyone's life better, just by being there with your contagious giggles and laughter. You are so loved and will be missed by so many. Give Mom a kiss with lots of that bright red lipstick! I am so sorry I can't be there but I love you, Don, Deb, and Lisa. Prayers for peace and comfort to all the family.
Love you each and everyone,
Nancy Akers
