Bonnie was a friend to all, with kind words of wisdom if you asked; or by leading by example of the way she lived her life.
Her entire life was wrapped around her love for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She realized the importance of enjoying every moment she could with them.
I remember my most precious moment with Bonnie was when her husband was in the hospital (I think maybe knee replacement?)
and while she was at work she was constantly thinking ahead. Her mind was swimming with how she would help him move around, if she should get a lift chair, which kids could HELP and when; all this while she was at work. She was doing her best to stay strong, and doing a very good job of it.
But then, her little dog got loose and lost, and she added to her list of worries and to-dos to go looking for the dog, once she finished work and hospital. When she couldn't find the dog, it was basically the straw that broke the camel's back. When she lost it at work, I knew the dog was a huge part of it-but she was also releasing all that pent up worry and fear over her beloved husband.
I only saw her once a year and I am missing her already. I can only imagine what her husband and children must be feeling and will continue to feel as time goes on.
I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and dry your tears and help you remember ALL the good times with a smile and that the Holy Spirit give you all strength to get through this. Love you Bonnie and Family.
