Bonnie Lynn Pierse's Obituary
Bonnie Lynn Pierse, age 74, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020, with her loving family by her side.
She was born March 15, 1946, in Cleveland, daughter of the late Cyrus Verne and Mary Jayne (nee Peck) Rice. Bonnie enjoyed bowling, gardening, baking and photography. She adored her family and loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Her love also extended to animals of all kinds, especially her grandpets. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Devoted wife of 53 years to James T. Pierse; cherished mother of Justine (Craig) Leinweber, Melissa (Todd) Weihl, Cynthia (Jayson) Morgan, and Theresa (Thomas) Steinmetz; beloved grandmother of Alicia Pierse, Alaina Domanich, John (Nathalie) Weihl, Jason Weihl, Peyton Leinweber, Olivia Steinmetz, Jenna Morgan, Landon Weihl, Logan Leinweber, Chase Morgan, and James Steinmetz; loving great grandmother of Koen Weihl, and Everly Weihl; treasured sister of Charis Macha, and the late Kelvin Rice; dearest aunt, sister-in-law, and friend of many.
To ensure the health and safety of our community, we are following all guidelines set by local, state and CDC officials. A private family service will take place. Bonnie will be laid to rest in the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bonnie’s name are suggested to the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113.
