Carl Neifer's Obituary
Carl Raymond Neifer, 68, of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away on November 24, 2021. He was born on January 1, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Raymond and Louise (nee Kovach) Neifer. Carl belonged to St. Brendan’s Church and his voice was an anchor in their choir. He will be fondly remembered as an avid golfer and bowler; his presence will be greatly missed at Royal Crest Golf Club and Buckeye Lanes where he was a fixture for many years. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as cooking, taking care of God’s creatures, and leaving the world a better place with a great joke and a smile. He will be missed by his beloved wife Jane (nee Kaysak) of 40 years; loving children Matthew (Kimberly Rotzell) Neifer, Brittainy Neifer, and Holland Neifer; treasured grandchildren Maxwell, Cole, Myka, and Avigail; dear siblings Mark Neifer and Nadine (Frank) Peters; sister-in-law Pam Neifer; and many extended family members and cherished friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers Kurt and Alan Neifer, and sister-in-law Debbie Neifer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 3-7 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10AM at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, 4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
