Well we met Carol many years ago thru our friends Jim (Rick) and Debbie.
We were 17 then and now the numbers are reversed. It started at Baseball where Bob was our All-Star shortstop and Carol would attend the games with Dawn and Michael. Carol always spoke lovingly about her family..
her dad and mom, her siblings Joyce and Jim (Rick), bother-in-law Jim our first baseman, sister-in-law Debbie her son-in-law Bob and Ed and her grandchildren Crystal and Rachael, their spouses and her many nieces and nephews.
Carol's stories were always hilarious, and we had many laughs together.
She even laughed at my jokes! I still have a collection of Elvis calendars that she gave me along with other American Greeting memorabilia. We ran into her at Elvis concert where she always had a close up seat. If you looked for a recommendation to eat she was your go to person! We also talked about every type of bakery known to man.
Well Rest in Peace our friend==you will be missed and May God Bless!!

Grams 💕

You didn't have to be a blood relative to call her Grams, but she sure did make you feel like you were. I'll never forget the trip to Florida Rae and I took with Grams and Dawn. We did every tourist thing in the book and Grams was there for all of it . It would take her half the morning to get ready and be just right for the day's agenda, but she wanted to look her best ( and boy did she look good!)

Not many people ask me to sing solos privately to them , but Grams just loved to be sung to. I knew I couldn't be AWFUL when I would end a song and she would simply say " another" . It brought me so much joy that I think I sang to her for over an hour one night and she just sat smiling (that's rare when I start singing) .

We shared so many laughs on that trip and of course the snacking was endless. I never knew such a lover of bakery that matched my own sugar passion until I saw Grams indulge her sweet tooth. I think of her every time I eat a Paczki .

She has and will always have a special place in my heart 💞.

We loved going to East Coast Custard and getting the flavor of the day. I would tell her what it was and she'd always say, "ooh that sounds good." Then she would get a double in a waffle cone and she would always start counting how many licks it took to eat the whole thing.. then we would lose track.. We would eat in the car and park in the shade and people watch and laugh at them. 😋
