Carol M. Herron's Obituary
Carol M. Herron, 83, formerly of Parma, Ohio and most recently a resident of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026. She was born on May 2, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Fred and Helen Miller.
Carol shared 51 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bobby Joe Herron, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life centered on love, and unwavering devotion to family.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Douglas (Robert) and Michael Herron, who were the pride of her life. She was affectionately known as “Gram” to her cherished grandchildren, Krystle Laws and Rachel Konarsh (Kevin), who brought her endless joy. Carol also leaves behind her loving siblings, James Miller (Debbie) and Joyce Stih (James); her nieces and nephews—Keith, Cindy, Debbie, Brian, David, Tracy, and Kristen; and her great-niece, Dana, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Carol retired from American Greetings, where she dedicated many years of hard work and friendship. Outside of her career, she found joy in baking, shopping, going to the movies, and sharing meals with family and friends.
She was known for her heart of gold and her remarkable ability to see the good in everyone. If you needed anything, Carol was the first to show up, offering support, comfort, or a laugh with her unforgettable sense of humor. Her kindness, generosity, and lighthearted spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel.
