Charles Patrick Carroll's Obituary
Charles P. Carroll, age 81, of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
He was born May 4, 1939, in Cleveland; son of the late Irwin and Leona (nee Hauck) Carroll. Chuck was a U.S. Navy veteran and proud police officer for the Lakewood Police Department. He was a ceramicist and tropical fish hobbyist, and even owned his own pet store in Lakewood for five years. Chuck loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Devoted husband of 58 years to Beverly (nee Gunsch) Carroll; cherished father of Charles P. (Karen), Denise A. (James) Lambert, Timothy J. (Michelle), Douglas I. (Janice), and Gregory A. (Jill); beloved grandfather of Nicole, Jerry (Jessica), Jake, Mandy, Katie, Julie, Doug, Zachary, Megan, and Amanda (Philippe); loving great grandfather of Cameron Grace and Penelope Rose; cherished brother of the late Donald (Gayle, surviving); dearest cousin, uncle, and friend of many.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 3PM – 7PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 9:30AM at Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, OH 44142.
Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
