Miss Erdelac was my first grade teacher and I just adored her. My daughter, Lea, had her for 1st grade to. Lea loved penguins and she would always something to her regarding penguins for many years after Lea had her for a teacher. She was a kind, caring, loving person and teacher. I will truly miss you!
PS.. She had told me I could call her Connie but that seemed disrespectful to her.
One of my fondest memories with Connie was our annual Fall trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake to attend the Shaw Festival. It was an idyllic town with gorgeous flowers, numerous wineries and restaurants, cute shops, and a variety of entertaining shows. We stayed at the best hotel in town, the Prince of Wales. Connie always made all of the arrangements. I’m going to miss her! She was one of a kind and the best friend anyone could have!
