Constance Erdelac's Obituary
Constance Erdelac, age 84, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025. Born on June 10, 1941, to the late Joseph and Elsie Erdelac, Constance lived a life filled with love, creativity, and devotion to others. She is survived by her cousins, Robert (the late Audrey) Dobrinic and Michael (Joanne) Dobrinic, who cherished her deeply.
Constance graduated from Thiel College with a bachelor’s degree in education and dedicated her career to teaching first grade at Lakewood City Schools. She touched countless young lives with her patience, kindness, and passion for learning.
She was known for her thoughtful gestures—often sending cards and letters adorned with her signature swan drawing, a symbol of her grace and warmth. Constance treasured her family and friends, always finding ways to stay connected and uplift those around her.
Her love of the arts was evident in her frequent visits to Playhouse Square, where she delighted in performances that celebrated creativity and culture. She also enjoyed traveling with friends, seeking out the beauty of art and nature wherever she went. At home, Constance found joy in tending her flower garden and feeding the birds, creating a sanctuary of peace and beauty.
Constance’s legacy is one of kindness, artistry, and devotion to the people and passions that enriched her life. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, Constance will be cremated and laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Fountain of Memories, Niche 130).
