Dale G. Spencer's Obituary
Dale G. Spencer, age 71, of Westlake, OH, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, from heart disease.
He was born November 1, 1948 in Lakewood, OH, son of the late Robert and Helen (nee Nolder) Spencer. Dale earned a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College. He had an interest in classic cars, enjoyed golf, and was a great supporter of the Cleveland APL. Dale was employed by several companies during his career, including Midland Steel Products, Valley City Steel, Lake Erie Screw, and for the last 16 years, Varbros Corp, LLC.
Devoted husband of 45 years to Virginia (nee Scott) Spencer; cherished brother of the late Douglas (Joyce, surviving) Spencer and the late Roger (Leita, surviving) Spencer; treasured uncle of Jerilyn (Joe) Royle, David (Beth) Spencer, Christopher (Donna) Spencer, Gregory Spencer, Todd (Sandra) Spencer, and Kurt Spencer. He also had eight great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 11, 2020, from 2PM – 4PM and 6PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. Service will be private at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Wiley Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113.
