David K. Ream's Obituary
David K. Ream, 68, of Brecksville, passed away December 20, 2017.
Beloved son of Anna (Klun) Ream; loving brother of Robert (Sue Novar) Ream, Richard (Cathy McNamara) Ream, Paul (Peggy) Ream, and Thomas Ream; dear uncle of Jason, Joshua, Cassandra, Erica, Rebecca, Justin, Jordan, and Brian; and a cherished friend, mentor, and colleague. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert K. Ream.
David received his Bachelors in Science in Engineering and his Masters of Sciences in Computing and Information Sciences from Case Western Reserve University. He was also a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. David was President of Leverage Technologies which he founded in 1990. He was an integral part of many community organizations including the Cleveland International Film Festival, the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, Equality Ohio, and the American Society of Indexers.
A memorial visitation with the Ream Family will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2017 from 1-5 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070 with his Celebration of Life service to commence at 5 PM. A public memorial will be held at the Cleveland Institute of Art on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 11 AM – 2 PM, 11610 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106. The service will include a program celebrating David’s life with opportunities to share memories, stories, and a reception.
