Deborah Elaine Eldred's Obituary
Deborah "Deb" Elaine Eldred was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully and surrounded by love on November 2, 2024, at the age of 73 during her favorite time of year, Fall.
Deb was born to Robert & Diana Wells on January 17, 1951, in Bedford, IN and was raised in Rocky River, OH. After graduating high school, she married the love of her life & husband of 54 years, Tom Eldred on December 19, 1970. They started their life together in Tiffin, OH and eventually moved to Westerville where they started their family welcoming Jennifer and Jodi into the world.
While raising a family as a stay-at-home Mom she decided to go back to college to earn a B.S. from Franklin University which allowed her to realize her dream of working in dietetics. She was dedicated to supporting and helping her patients throughout her career.
She had many passions in her life including baking, travel, games/Mahjong, friends, family and pets. Every holiday and birthday, we would look forward to her amazing cut out cookies and carrot cake. In fact, her husband Tom always took a tin of iced heart shaped sugar cookies in the car with him while traveling for work around his Birthday.
Deb experienced the world by car, plane and cruise ship. She enjoyed hundreds of trips and was able to visit all 50 states and many parts of Canada, the Carribean, Europe, Mexico, and Central/South America.
In her retirement, her biggest joys included long walks, her wildflower garden, watching the birds, releasing butterflies with her Granddaughter Olivia and spoiling her Grand dogs Lilee and Isis.
She will be remembered and missed forever by those who knew and loved her.
