Whenever our paths crossed, I always enjoyed talking and laughing with him. He will be missed. If I can ever be of any assistance to you, please call me.
I was lucky enough to have re-connected with Dennis after 45 years. talking with him on the phone was a really great experience. His spirit and attitude were unbelievable. He knew he did not have much longer but made time so we could catch up. Obviously, he was loved and respected by everyone that knew him. Heaven got a good one when he got called home. Sue, he's looking down on you from heaven.
We are there with you in spirit today, Sue, wishing we could be there in person. Dennis will live on in our hearts, as you will, as a wonderful friend; remembering the times we shared. Words are inadequate to share our true feelings, but this is a feeble attempt. Sending love and prayers your way. Tom and Marcia LeFevre
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dennis was a joy to work with & know. May he Rest In Peace.
Sent a gift in memory of Dennis M. McElroy
I knew Dennis when he was Denny when we were both just teenagers so many years ago, We were casual pals in junior high at Baker. I recently got a chance to catch up with him on the phone. His great attitude and perseverance were evident when he spoke of his battle with ALS. I wish I'd had found him earlier and got to spend more time around him. He was obviously a very special man. He was so deeply in love with his soulmate Sue and clearly her with him. They had what many dream of, unconditional love. Sue, know this, that kind of love does not go away. He is with you in spirt. God blessed you two with each other. Sue, If there is anything I can do to help through these difficult times, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm only a couple miles away. May God's grace help you along as it has to this point.
Our sympathy to Sue and all the family! We will miss Dennis although we know he is at peace now. Dennis was such an amazing, funny and loving man to his family and friends. He was an inspiration during his fight with ALS. We are so fortunate that both of you came into our lives. We have so many memories! Our love. Ernie and Ginny
