Duane was one of the first people I worked with when I started at Energizer and I got to know him well over the 10 years our time overlapped. He was quirky, funny, intelligent, helpful, and above all a good man. My fondest memories of him are all the times we would have impromptu discussions when we crossed paths at work, about anything from mundane things in our lives to world events to morality and philosophy. He is gone far too soon, and my sincere condolences to his family. Duane, you will be sorely missed.

I worked with Duane for many years at Energizer and found him to be a very personable and knowledgeable colleague. Duane always went out of his way to help others when asked and was an invaluable team player. He had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. So sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Duane will be missed. I had the wonderful experience of working with Duane at Energizer for over a decade. We shared a lab at times, collaborated on projects, and solved problems together. At least one of his technical contributions was patented by Energizer (see picture).

Cheerful and energetic were Duane's default modes of operation. Although I never went to a concert with him, his love of music was clear to me. When I think of Duane, I will always remember his bright energy.

You will be missed, my friend.
