Duane James' Obituary
Duane James, age 66, formerly of Lakewood, Ohio, passed away on March 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family after a three-month battle of declining health.
Preceded in death by his parents, Arlene M. (nee Mosberg) and Roy F. James. Beloved husband of 38 years, soulmate, and best friend of Sheralyn James. Dearest brother of Elaine (Michael) Kovacic. Much-loved nephew of Arnold T. Mosberg (deceased) and Georgann Mosberg. Cherished brother-in-law of Melanie Marrapodi (deceased) and Stephen Marrapodi.
Degreed chemist and longtime employee of Energizer. Duane loved his family, friends, reading, music, long walks, and bicycle rides. His love and devotion to his family, intelligence, musical talent, and humor will be greatly missed. He will be rockin’ in heaven in his blue suede shoes.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Section 49, Lot 211, Space 3).
